I have a new painting of St Pancras Station to share,
The last new painting of 2017, in fact. Here it is! All looks good, but there’s a problem.
The title has me stumped!
I’ve long realised that paintings need good titles, and usually they come quite naturally. Some, I’ve figured out long before the painting is even finished!
But not this time…
I have a new painting, but no idea what title to use. Maybe looking at the story behind the photo will help?
Well, I took the photo when the chap in red was asking his wife to take a photo of him with the Sir John Betjeman sculpture. I took a quick snap as the image was endearing.
The composition and everything else has been straightforward, if a little slow in the execution. but can I decide on a name?
No, the title eludes me.
Nothing seems right.
So far I have.
- “St Pancras Twins”,
- “Can you take a photo of my and my friend?”
- “I’m sorry, I still can’t see it?”
And there may well be more, this could take a while. Think I’m going to need help for this one.
What title do you think would work with this new painting?
If you have any suggestions, please feel free to chip in. Something about friendship, new friends, or people you meet at stations perhaps?
