Some pictures seem to take forever to create Whilst others practically seem to paint themselves. This St Catherine’s painting was definitely in the former category. Especially when I started on the bicycles! But I the result was worth it I think! Oh, and I like the bicycles now!

A return to Quarry Bank Mil for this weeks work in progress. The central courtyard to be precise. A decidedly wonky structure, but all part of it’s charm! And I’m only going a little cross-eyed doing it! There might be some choice language emanating from my studio as a result. I will post an update
After all my procrastinating, it’s done! Presenting the finished painting of the Barbican from the terrace. It’s a working title still. The structures on the roof remind me of Pill boxes on the coast. I can see something like “Waging war on Art” or “Defence of the Arts” being my final choice. And now the snow
