Architectural Art #50 – The final 4950 painting!

I did it!

My challenge to create 50 pieces of architectural art inspired by architecture in Buckingham and surrounding villages is complete! I decided to finish symbolically with a signpost. It implies What next?, which direction shall I go?

Signposts signal clarity, planning and a desire to be helpful. Missing signs end up getting people lost and way off course. A feeling familiar to any traveller and artist. Physically and as a metaphor.

Curious about the 49 50 Painting Challenge.

And that is the question , what art shall I create now? Oh, I have ideas, first some more London and Manchester paintings and some time to figure out how to make my next project a reality. I’m not ready to share it yet, but I have something big planned.

There’s the exhibition, of course, and I’d like to turn the paintings into a book at some point. I’m working my way through the paintings and creating meditations, like I did with the Marylebone exhibition.

Of course, whatever I do next, architectural art will continue to be my focus.

Curious about the 49 50 Painting Challenge.
