33 Metal Window painting

Windows, come in all shapes and sizes, which is why there are a few variations in the 4950 series. These leaded windows belong to a church. The church in question is in North Bucks, you have plenty to chose from. You can definitely find these on Google maps, for those in other parts of the country/world. Just start from Buckingham and look to the villages.

Most churches I knew growing up had stained glass windows all around. Coming to Bucks it was a novelty to see clear glass in churches. And I have to say, I rather like it. I still love the stained glass, but with clear glass you get the endless views of the sky, and as I said with painting 27. Skies can look like a stained glass window painting and the sky is always changing.

I’ll share the location in the next post. So, until then, happy hunting.

33 Metal Window is part of the 49/50 Painting Challenge.

Curious about the 49 50 Painting Challenge.
