Manchester Library and a Tram – Work in Progress

How would you picture Manchester City Centre?

If you know it then trams and the Central Manchester  Library will probablty come to mind.

This weeks work in progress combines two subjects I’ve had on my “To Do” list for some time. Manchester Library and a Tram.

Manchester’s Trams are something of an icon now so really warranted an interpretation.  and the library, well it’s always been there.

Here’s the first stage of painting with cling film over the initial wash.
