When I was deciding on this weeks Painting of the week, I remembered I’d taken some video when I was creating this Watercolour painting of Big Ben. .
At exhibitions and evnts, I’m often asked how the painting are created, so, rather than write about it, I decided to show you.By editing the clips together. I start with a photograph that I’ve taken and transfer the image to paper. I then mask over all the lines. When the masking is dry, I start painting, there’s some cling film and salt involved in the process. How?
