Keeper of the Gates.
Ever wonder what goes through the mind of the security guard who closes the museum gates? Or the British Library, in this case. This painting called Keeper of the Gates is based on a photo taken as I was leaving the British Library on a hot day, and I can’t help thinking “What was on his mind?” This poem is the result.
