Finally the H van painting I promised you is here.
It feels like I’ve been working on this one forever!
I started it on the first Sunday of Bucks Open Studios all those weeks ago. Here’s where it began, with the squaring up. (Tracedown paper is so much quicker)
If you look very carefully, you can see that I’m in the Woolpack at this stage.
More drawing, was continued at Claydon House, and I appear to be in this one. One advantage of open studios, there are people around who will take pictures whilst you work.
Here’s the drawing completed (ish) This time at Chafor Vinyard.
Finally, back in the studio to start the painting.
This time I remembered to take a picture when the cling film was still on.
