There’s progress at the mill…

We have colour! Just the first stage of painting but colour none the less. Next I apply darker colours and blow the paint around. But I have to leave it to dry otherwise the paint blooms instead of forming lovely tendrills. Now I need to be patient and not start the next step too soon. […]

In Painting, Preparation is 90% of the Job.

Cotton Mills are impressive structures… And complicated. But by ‘eck they look good when you get ’em right! And I think I’ve got this one right. In fact, I’m very pleased how it’s turning out.
